Episode 8 — Retired U.S. Navy Lieutenant Ryan K. Brown, Jr., '13, '21g
If alumnus Ryan K. Brown, Jr. '13, '21g, were to ever write a book, it'd be titled "Staying Busy."
Since graduating from the Penn State College of Arts and Architecture in 2013, Ryan has served in the United States Navy as a Lieutenant, co-founded his own Trinidadian Hot Pepper Sauce company, joined the Military Leadership Development Program at Johnson and Johnson, became a member of Alumni Council, earned his master's degree from the Smeal College of Business, and more.
Ryan joined us in Episode 8 of The People of Penn State to discuss his time at Penn State where he held a leadership position for Black Caucus, his experience serving in the U.S. Navy, working with his wife in founding the "We Are Wonderfully Made" sauce company, among other topics.
