Through her podcast 'Nobody Told Me!' Laura Owens '13 has made it her mission to empower listeners as they follow their passion and tap into their own unique potential. The show is one of the top .5% podcasts in the world in the category of self-help/entrepreneurship.
Laura is also a passionate public speaker who fearlessly advocates to eliminate the stigma facing domestic violence victims.
Laura was kind enough to join us for Episode 14 of The People of Penn State to share her experiences of surviving an abusive relationship. She also discussed earning her degree from Penn State through World Campus, getting into the business of showing horses, starting her own podcast with her mother Jan, and more.
